*Friday was National Play-Doh Day! We celebrated the end of CogAT Testing by using play-doh in our lessons and with our book buddies. In social studies, we formed landforms with our play-doh. (Look at Ashton's plateau flateau!) In math, we played "Subtraction Smash" with a totally ten frame. We invited our 3rd grade book buddies for afternoon centers, which included: making minions;, printing/spelling names; filling cavities with Dr. Drill and Fil;, exploring with play-doh tools;, and creating dinosaur fossil prints.
